Broadly speaking, the Millennials are a global generation (the largest in number in the world). In numerical data, there are about 1.7 billion Millennials worldwide. These were born in a stage of economic prosperity, with remarkable technological growth.
Millennials are part of consumers who now have more knowledge of the products, their benefits and side effects besides being a more conscious generation, since they have a more open mind to "live life." In their work, 79% consider that it should be allowed to go to work in jeans , because the more comfortable they sit, the better they will work.
In terms of purchasing and consumption habits, they can be "picky" buyers who want to have total control of the shopping experience and this is why they demand a quality service; evaluate not only the product, but all that it entails.
Currently there is a great opportunity for brands with Millennials, as they are the ones that are more immersed in social media and prefer to be inside mobile devices that have access to the internet. Based on these characteristics, companies can have more contact with users and provide better care, which as we mentioned above, is one of their priorities as consumers.
In this way, traditional marketing specialists must renew themselves to generate new strategies that impact this segment that is emerging economically within companies, so that they can meet their needs and desires in a more efficient way. If we manage our strategies, we will discover that the Millennial generation is an attractive and very profitable group for companies.
