The review giant Trip Advisor has smashed millions of tourist reviews to identify the favorite hotels of its users.

The site announced its Travelers' Choice Awards 2014 on Wednesday. More than 7,000 properties were awarded, divided into categories such as the best hotels, bargains, moderately priced hotels and inns, family, luxury, romance and small hotels.
The country with the most winners was Italy, with 152 hotels.
TripAdvisor uses an algorithm that measures the quality and quantity of the opinions and reviews of tourists to categorize the properties.
