The Best Hotels of the World 2016 in Mexico
Live Aqua, located in Cancun , appears in position 33 in the category 'The 100 best hotels' and debuts this year at the World's Best Awards. It is also ranked in the top of the best resorts in Mexico, this all inclusive luxury hotel has 371 rooms, 3 restaurants, one of them by the award-winning Mexican chef Marta Ortiz, and 4 bars.
Another of the Hotels in Mexico that is present in this list is the Grand Velas Riviera Maya in the 38th place worldwide and the 2nd in Mexico. This hotel is also a luxury all-inclusive and offers guests activities such as golf, scuba diving, snorkeling and dolphin swim.
Two resorts in Mexico were selected by readers of Travel + Leisure : Capella Pedregal, Los Cabos (57th place worldwide and third in Mexico); And La Casa Que Canta , in Zihuatanejo (59th place in the world and fourth national).
One & Only Palmilla in San José del Cabo - the best hotel in the country according to the edition "The 250 best hotels in the world" by T + L published in January 2012 is in the sixth place in this latest edition.
In the category "Best islands in Mexico , Central and South America", Isla Mujeres and Cozumel are in third and fourth place in a list of five positions whose first position is occupied by the Galapagos island in Ecuador.
