An elite group of 11 properties are the ones who won Five Star awards for their hotel, restaurant and spa. These winners were: the Banyan Tree Macau, in Macau; The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado; The Cloister, Sea Island, Georgia; the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego; The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong; The Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas; The Mandarin Oriental in Macau; The Mandarin Oriental in Miami; The Montage Laguna Beach in Orange County; The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island and the Wynn Las Vegas.
Gerard J. Inzerillo, CEO of the Forbes Travel Guide said: "We are very pleased to recognize the 2017 Star Rating award winners, who form an exceptional array of hotels, restaurants and spas with a strong service culture."
Among the new destinations on the list stands out the small island of Bali that emerges as a great winner among the luxury sector. The new highlight of luxury has earned Five Star distinctions in three hotels: Four Seasons Resort Bali in Jimbaran Bay, Four Seasons Resort Bali in Sayan, The Villas in Ayana.
