Interventional Cardiology
Effective treatment for cardiovascular disease is interventional cardiology. This method of cardiac interference with the use of a catheter is used to treat cardiovascular diseases. In interventional cardiology catheter is used for the correction of damaged blood vessels or areas of the heart, often avoiding major surgery.
Our interventional cardiology program is intended for people suffering from angina (angina pectoris) – a typical manifestation of chronic ischemic heart disease.
Partner sanatorium “Castle Phoenix” is the Budapest Cardiology Center-Institute of SOTE (www.kardiologia.hu), which employs the well-known cardiologists and medical professionals under the direction of the leading Hungarian cardiologist Professor Bela Merkel.
The program includes: the preoperative period, a full medical examination, surgery, rehabilitation programme in the resort for 13 days
Rehabilitation (13 days): 5 treatments per day by purpose (monitoring medical examinations, physiotherapy, massage, training machine, nutritional advice,advice on healthy lifestyle).

1. DAY – Period, preoperational podgotovki (2 days)
arrival in Budapest. Meeting at the airport or railway station, transfer to the sanatorium Castle “Phoenix” with a Russian-speaking escort (about an hour’s drive from the capital)
accommodation in the hotel with full Board. The questionnaires for the purpose of obtaining necessary for the treatment of information about the habits and the rhythm of Your life, as well as for the conditions for a more comfortable stay in the resort
the tour of the Castle grounds in support of a Russian-speaking staff
medical examination, consultation with a cardiologist (Dr. Ches diardi, Dr. Seumas Monica, Dr. and Professor Laszlo Rudas), appointment procedures
